My Quest in Texas

Daddy and Matt were doing the Texas Quest Adventure Race so Mommy and I went with them for support.  It was at a nice park so while they were racing, Mommy and I went on some small adventures of our own.  The weather was great and we had a good time cheering them on and watching plenty of other children play in the park.  They had a good time too and finshed 1st and 2nd place in the Solo Male Division ... CACAR off to a great 2011 start!

Doctor, Doctor, Give Me The News

Went for my 1 month checkup Monday and I was having a perfectly pleasant time finding out good things about myself until a nurse came in with this needle.  The needle part was fine, but the medicine was not. I only cried for a moment because I wanted to show Mommy how tough I was.  I now weigh 11 pounds, 2 ounces, am 23.5 inches long and have outgrown my newborn outfits!

I also had some visitors from a far off place. The Bowler family from Memphis. It was nice spending time with people more my size.

Frisco Fest

Went to the Frisco Fest Sunday with Mommy, Daddy, Maw-Maw T, and Nannie.  It was another really nice day.  We bought a few things from the arts and crafts booths and I actually found a picture frame with my name on it! BTW, they sell too much girlie stuff ... I have no use for hair bows.

Happy 1 Month Birthday To Me!

I made 1 month old today or 4 weeks! I had a nice day with beautiful weather. I went for a stroll and found 10 cents for my birthday! It must be my lucky day!  Granny and Grandad came to visit and brought me a chocolate cake ... yummy!

Happy Mardi Gras!

Saturday I went to my first Mardi Gras parade, the Towahpahsah Parade in Reserve!  It passes right in front of Paw-Paw & Nana's house.  Good thing because the weather got very bad, but I could watch from the front porch.  Even though the parade was short (8 minutes) I had fun.  Honestly, I did doze off a bit and almost missed it completely.  Ironically, Towahpahsah means "you don't see that!"

That was the only parade I went to for my first Mardi Gras.  I spent the rest of Mardi Gras spending time with family and watching the parades on TV.

Mommy's Birthday

I went to my first birthday party!  It was a dinner party for Mommy.  Granny cooked and made the best birthday cake ever!  I gave Mommy a card, some chocolate, and 2 new books to read to me.

Tulips are Mommy's favorite flowers.

Other than that, I have just been hanging around the house and getting bigger.  Mommy says I am growing very fast.
